China Fashion Colour Association (CFCA) is a legal and social entity at national level mainly engaged in fashion colour research, forecast, design and application. Established in 1982, CFCA became a member of International Commission for Fashion and Textile Colours in the following year. Administratively affiliated with China Science & Technology Association, CFCA now play its role under the banner of National Federation of Textile Industry.

　　CFCA is structured as shown in the Organization Chart and functioned by 37 board directors and 116 directors from various industries such as textile, fashion, chemical, architectural and light industry, as well as related universities, institutes and intermediate organizations.

　　 The functions of CFCA covers the following:

• Make market research on colour, forecast and issue colour trends;
• Represent China to participate in InterColour panel meeting biannually and present China fashion colour trend proposal;
• Provide consulting services, undertake projects, appraise fruitful results and grant qualification of technical titles;
• Organize activities for academic exchange, provide education and training on fashion colour application, recommend excellent enterprises and individuals for their full play in application of fashion colours;
• Engaged in the research, application and promotion of China's standard for applied colours;
• Publish Fashion Colour journal, as well as tools and materials for fashion colour application;
• Organize activities for international exchange, extend cooperation with related international organizations.
